Duties

• Measure and estimate roofing projects accurately using blueprint reading and schematics to determine materials needed and project scope
• Prepare job sites by setting up scaffolding, safety barriers, and ensuring all necessary tools are on hand for efficient workflow
• Install, repair, and replace roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment while adhering to safety standards
• Perform surface preparation including caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, and masonry work as needed for seamless integration
• Conduct inspections throughout projects to ensure quality control, proper alignment, and adherence to design specifications
• Collaborate with team members on fabrication tasks such as metal stud framing or concrete forming to support roofing structures
• Assist with restoration projects involving roofing systems, ensuring longevity and weather resistance of completed work

Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques
• Experience in various construction disciplines including carpentry, masonry, plumbing, tile laying, and framing carpentry
• Familiarity with roofing materials such as metal panels, shingles, membranes, and waterproofing systems
• Ability to read technical schematics related to metal stud framing or restoration projects
• Hands-on experience with fabrication processes relevant to roofing components or structural elements
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in restoration or remodeling tasks
• Demonstrated ability to work safely on construction sites while following all safety protocols and regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $33.14 per hour
