Manchester Athletic Club — Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA
Manchester Athletic Club is expanding our fitness and sports performance team with a full-time coach who will play a key role in the growth of our small group training model and the continued advancement of our department's training revenue and program development.
We're looking for a coach who brings energy, professionalism, and the ability to work confidently with adults, youth athletes, and tennis academy players in both group and 1-on-1 settings.
Role Overview
· Lead adult small group strength & conditioning sessions
· Coach youth, high school, and tennis academy athletes
· Conduct 1-on-1 personal training sessions
· Build and retain strong client relationships
· Contribute to program development, team communication, and a high-standard coaching culture
Requirements
· Nationally recognized certification (CFSC, CSCS, NASM, NSCA, ACSM, etc.)
· CPR/AED certified
· Experience coaching small groups preferred
· Strong communication, cueing, and room-management skills
· Professionalism, reliability, and initiative
· Evening and weekend availability required
Compensation
· 1-on-1 Training: $35–$44/hr
· Small Group Training: $40–$50/session headcount incentives
