Position Summary
The SIOP Lead is responsible for working cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, Sourcing, and Planning teams to ensure clear visibility into demand trends, supply constraints, inventory strategy, and capacity planning. This role will facilitate executive SIOP meetings, drive accountability for action items, and ensure the organization operates with a single, consistent version of the plan.
Key Responsibilities
The SIOP Lead is responsible for working cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, Sourcing, and Planning teams to ensure clear visibility into demand trends, supply constraints, inventory strategy, and capacity planning. This role will facilitate executive SIOP meetings, drive accountability for action items, and ensure the organization operates with a single, consistent version of the plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the monthly SIOP cycle including Demand Review, Supply Review, and Executive SIOP meetings
- Develop standardized SIOP meeting structure, reporting, and governance
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment on demand, supply constraints, and inventory strategy
- Ensure decisions and actions from SIOP meetings are documented and executed
- Consolidate demand forecasts, supply plans, inventory positions, and capacity constraints into a single planning view
- Develop and Maintain SIOP dashboards and reporting tools to support executive decision making
- Provide forward visibility into potential backorders, inventory risks, and supply disruptions
- Partner with planning and sourcing teams to identify supply constraints, and align on procurement and mitigation strategies
- Partner closely with Sales to understand demand drivers and upcoming business opportunities
- Support operations and leadership teams with scenario planning and risk assessment
- Drive ongoing improvements in planning processes, reporting, and SIOP maturity
