Operations Staff Supervisor- Raising Cane's River Center

The Raising Canes River Center has immediate openings for a full-time Operations Staff Supervisor. This labor-intensive role is a great opportunity for anyone looking for a full-time work with non-standard hours. The successful candidate is someone who can be a team player and is willing to contribute to the effort it takes for a large facility to host major entertainment events. The operations team and its supervisor play a critical role in preparing the facility for various types of events, which may include concerts, trade shows, ceremonies, or banquets. The main responsibility of this position involves assisting the operations manager with the supervision and participation in heavy labor and various duties designed to ensure the day-to-day operations of the facility are met. Other Responsibilities May Include: Ensure daily successful operational coordination of all facility activities by gathering and distributing event information from Event Coordinators, Food Service, Management, and other Operational Managers to all Operations Staff. Supervision and Setting-up and removing event layouts, which may include moving chairs, walls, barricades, staging, tables, other furnishings and equipment. Monitor and make recommendations to the Senior Operations Manager / Assistant Director of Operations / Conversion Manager that events have the appropriate staffing numbers scheduled. Coordinate service needs for building and event and conversions operational needs. Performs physical labor including carrying, lifting, and assembly event items. Loading/unloading delivery trucks, transporting trash and waste to proper disposal area and replenishing supplies. Perform light maintenance repairs to event setup and cleaning equipment using hand and power tools. Operate forklifts, scissor, vertical, and boom lifts, and other motorized vehicles properly. May operate specialized facility tools with training at the directions of a supervisor. Minor housekeeping or cleaning duties when necessary Other duties as assigned Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old Must have high school diploma or GED Must be able to pass a background check Maintains a professional appearance Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays. Ability to lift up to 50 to 75 lbs. Walk long distances / stand for extended periods of time. Climb Stairs and push/pull heavy objects.
