Event and Special Projects Assistant

POSITION: Event and Special Project Assistant (Part-Time) DEPARTMENT: Events REPORTS TO: Facility Director FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt/Hourly Summary ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for an Event and Special Project Assistant for the Shrine on Airline facility. ASM Global is seeking an experienced, skilled and professional team member for this position. Essential duties of this position include event and project-based administrative, operational and logistics assistance related to the performance of the venue. Among other responsibilities, this role will be tasked with supporting the Event Services and Operations staff at the facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Provide support to Facility Director as well as Operations and Event Services staff for administrative, event and project-related responsibilities. • Assist Director and Facilities Manager in all facets of events and projects as assigned. This includes, but is not limited to pre-event administrative elements, FF&E movements, signage, front of house equipment set-up/tear down, etc. • Identify process improvements where applicable. • Assist with FF&E set-up and tear down for all events as assigned. • Serve as command post operator as needed. • Assist with assure facility readiness and smooth operations of events. • All other duties as assigned General • Maintain proper image and generate positive public relations with clients, patrons and staff. • Provide excellent customer experiences at all times when interacting with staff, guests, vendors and clients • Provide and ensure efficient and effective communications regarding the delivery of services and information (internally and externally).
