What You’ll Do
- Monitoring and Control: Overseeing design and construction activities to ensure projects are on time, on budget, and meet all applicable codes and standards.
- Risk and Interface Management: Overseeing and mitigating complex risks related to technical design and construction interfaces among various projects, contractors, and third parties.
- Project Lifecycle Execution: Developing and implementing comprehensive plans for construction, testing, commissioning, and final turnover.
- Team Leadership: Supervising and guiding project teams in coordination with TDIP leadership and project managers.
- Information Flow: Facilitating the seamless flow of information between the terminal program and other concurrent projects and divisions within the Capital Improvement Program.
- Systems Integration: Working with project teams to verify that all integrated building and operational systems are functioning as expected.
- Constructability Review: Reviewing design plans and technical documents for constructability, logistics, and resource management.
- Quality & Safety: Coordinating robust quality assurance and safety requirements with the inspection and oversight teams.
- Financial Control: Assisting with risk management and mitigation strategies to support the schedule and control project costs.
- 20 years of progressive experience, ideally on major aviation or transportation infrastructure projects.
- Direct experience managing projects valued at over $250 million.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management). A Master's is a plus!
- A proven track record of stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and successful delivery in an active operational setting.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills to inspire confidence and articulate the project’s vision.
