What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Custodian position at Aslan's Maintenance?
2 positions: Mon - Friday, starting after 5:30 pm.
total hours per week: Position 1 -15-16; Position 2 -20-22.
Responsibilities:
- Perform custodial duties such as cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste materials properly
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and windowsills
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways and lobbies
- Possible use of automatic floor scrubbers included. Will train.
- Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
- Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment when necessary
- Use tablet computer to verify task completion and report problems.
- Abide by Aslan's Maintenance company policies and standards.
Experience:
- No experience needed, will train. Previous experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance helpful.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact with staff and visitors in a professional manner
