Custodian (part time)

The Newton School in South Strafford, Vermont is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students and staff. Responsibilities include: Daily cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal Light maintenance tasks as needed Ensuring building security during assigned shifts Qualifications: Prior custodial or cleaning experience preferred, but not required Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong attention to detail and reliability Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks Schedule: Part-time hours, typically afternoons/evenings (flexible schedule may be available) Compensation: Competitive hourly rate Join our supportive school community and help create a positive learning environment for local students.
