- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers.
- Handle and store chemical agents safely, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation protocols.
- Conduct routine custodial tasks including dusting, vacuuming, trash removal, window washing, and surface disinfecting to uphold high cleanliness standards.
- Operate cleaning machinery and tools efficiently while following safe lifting practices for heavy or bulky items.
- Maintain facilities by performing minor repairs or notifying maintenance teams of issues requiring professional attention.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Support general facilities maintenance tasks such as painting touch-ups or light repairs as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience with knowledge of commercial or residential cleaning techniques.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment including floor buffers, vacuums, mops, and chemical sprayers.
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely in accordance with safety protocol adherence and chemical handling safety procedures.
- Physical capability for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
