RDNC is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our team in a fully remote, part-time role supporting a Food is Medicine program. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in the early development and implementation phase of a growing initiative.
In the initial phase, a significant portion of your work will focus on building medically tailored menus and reviewing grocery options to ensure they meet clinical and program requirements. As the program expands, responsibilities will transition to include more direct patient care, such as nutrition assessments and counseling.
This is an ongoing contract position offering flexible scheduling and meaningful, patient-centered work.
Job Details
- Part-time: 15–20 hours per week
- 100% remote (work from anywhere)

- Full training and onboarding provided
- Must hold or be willing to obtain a New Mexico dietitian license
Responsibilities
- Develop and review medically tailored menus and grocery offerings
- Ensure nutrition plans meet clinical, safety, and regulatory standards
- Conduct nutrition assessments (as the program grows)
- Provide virtual nutrition counseling and education
- Develop individualized nutrition care plans
- Complete documentation in accordance with program requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support program development
Compensation
- $30–$38 per hour, based on experience
Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN)
- Active New Mexico license (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with diabetes, maternal health, or chronic disease preferred
- Experience with menu development or food service systems a plus
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving program environment
