What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Registered Dietitian (RDN) – Part-Time position at ASK Consulting?
About the Role: RDNC is seeking a Clinical Registered Dietitian (RDN) to support a skilled nursing facility in a part-time capacity. This position offers a consistent schedule with flexibility in selecting your workdays, along with the opportunity to build a long-term relationship with the facility.
Position Details:
- Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility
- Schedule: 16 hours per week
- Flexibility: Choose your own days
- Compensation: $35–$41 per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete nutrition assessments for new admissions and quarterly reviews
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams (physicians, nurses, therapy, etc.)
- Provide nutrition education and counseling as needed
- Ensure compliance with CMS, DOH, and state/federal regulations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Monitor resident weights and identify nutrition-related concerns
- Conduct kitchen sanitation audits and support food service quality
- Review and approve menus to ensure USDA compliance
Qualifications:
- Registered Dietitian (RDN) credential required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
- Active state licensure (if applicable)
- Clinical experience preferred (skilled nursing or LTC a plus)
- Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
- Experience with EMR/charting systems
