Position Summary
The Youth Peacekeeper will support outreach, engagement, and peer-led activities focused on violence prevention, youth empowerment, and community education. This role is designed to build leadership among young people while supporting program implementation.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist with community outreach and engagement activities
· Support workshops, youth panels, and community events
· Provide peer support to youth participants
· Assist with distributing educational materials and resources
· Help collect feedback and participate in evaluation activities
Program Duties
· Support engagement of youth and families in program activities
· Participate in community events (forums, workshops, cultural events)
· Assist in data collection (surveys, attendance, outreach tracking)
· Promote awareness of violence prevention resources and services
Qualifications
· High school graduate or currently enrolled in college
· Interest in community service, public health, or social justice
· Strong communication and teamwork skills
· Ability to engage peers and community members
Preferred Skills
· Multilingual abilities (Khmer, Hmong, Lao, Vietnamese)
· Experience in youth leadership or community programs
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
