Position Summary
The Lead Peacekeeper will serve as the frontline supervisor for outreach and intervention activities, supporting individuals impacted by violence through culturally responsive engagement, case management support, and community trust-building.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead outreach teams conducting engagement in Southeast Asian communities
· Provide direct support to individuals impacted by violence
· Supervise and mentor Youth Peacekeepers
· Coordinate field activities including home visits and follow-ups
· Facilitate workshops, panel discussions, and peer support groups
· Build relationships with community members, law enforcement, and service providers
Field & Program Duties
· Conduct outreach to recruit participants into case management programs
· Assist with intensive case management (home visits in-person/virtually twice monthly, follow-ups)
· Support referrals to mental health, counseling, and social services
· Document services, interactions, and outcomes using Unite Us
· Participate in community events and safety forums
Qualifications
· 2–4 years of experience in outreach, violence prevention, or community organizing
· Strong leadership and team supervision skills
· Experience working with high-risk or underserved populations
· Ability to de-escalate conflicts and build trust in community settings
Preferred Skills
· Cultural competency in Southeast Asian communities
· Multilingual abilities highly preferred (Preferred Khmer/Lao)
· Experience with trauma-informed care
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
