Job Title: Security Agent

Summary: Primarily responsible for providing security and safety of the guests, staff and the hotel. Is familiar and complies with the hotels standards and procedures. Also watches for unusual, illegal or dangerous activities occurring on the premises, by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

• Patrols properties interior ground and back of the house areas.
• Patrols hallways, parking lots, stairwells, lobbies, bars and restaurants.
• Ensures all guest room doors are closed and all public access doors locked.
• Looks out for any suspicious activity, and reports to the superiors and local authorities in case of any suspicious activity.
• Maintains clear and concise logs of all nightly occurrences, suspicious activity.
• Responds to guest requests quickly and courteously as reported by night shift staff.
• Assists guests/employees during emergency situations.
• Escorts any unwelcome persons from the property without interrupting the orderly flow of property operation.
• Maintains safety and security of guests at all times.

Experience:

One year related experience required.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
