Housekeeper – Ashton Place Senior Living | Clifton Springs, NY
Ashton Place is an independent and assisted living community in Clifton Springs, NY looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. This is meaningful work — the cleanliness and comfort of our community directly impacts the quality of life of the older adults who call Ashton Place home.
Responsibilities
- Thorough cleaning of resident apartments, common areas, dining rooms, and facility spaces including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Laundering, folding, and organizing linens and resident clothing as needed
- Disinfecting bathrooms and high-touch areas regularly following established sanitation procedures
- Maintaining floors through sweeping, mopping, and appropriate floor care techniques
- Communicating any maintenance concerns or unusual observations to your supervisor
- Representing Ashton Place with a friendly, professional, and respectful demeanor at all times
What We're Looking For
- Prior housekeeping or custodial experience preferred — senior living or healthcare environment a plus
- Reliable, self-motivated, and takes pride in their work
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and being on your feet throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time across multiple areas
- Comfort using electronic documentation tools and basic technology (training provided)
- Team player who communicates well with coworkers, residents, and families
