Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting.
- Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels as needed.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and amenities to ensure guest comfort at all times.
- Follow established safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for swift resolution.
- Support the housekeeping management team in training new staff members and maintaining inventory levels.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles; hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning methods, and custodial practices.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Good physical stamina with the ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management tools or systems is a plus.
