Education, Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- In-depth knowledge of clinical practice applicable to population served including pathophysiology, emergency management, and evaluation.
- Demonstrates effective leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of basic patient care activities to include basic hygiene, skin care, feeding, normal vital signs and other general hands-on patient care functions normally attained through one or more years of formal training.
- Paramedic preferred. A minimum of one year recent patient care experience in a hospital, nursing home, or healthcare field.
- Department, Critical Care Unit, or Critical Care Transport preferred.
- Current license State of Ohio EMT - Paramedic
- Current ACLS certification
- BTLS or the equivalent preferred.
