About Us
We are a mission-driven organization supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. We are seeking a dedicated Facility Manager (House Manager) to oversee the daily operations of our homes, manage staffing, coordinate resident care, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily home operations, staffing, and scheduling.
Coordinate Individualized Habilitation Plans (IHPs) and ensure proper documentation and file maintenance.
Communicate with families/guardians regarding resident needs, financials, and important updates.
Ensure all staff complete annual trainings and certifications (First Aid/CPR, driver’s training, ODH/DODD requirements).
Monitor inventory, household supplies, and maintenance needs.
Conduct employee evaluations, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
Arrange and monitor transportation for residents to appointments and outings.
Supervise compliance with safety protocols, including fire and disaster drills.
Assist in hands-on care and program delivery when needed.
Maintain confidentiality and represent the facility in a professional, compassionate manner.
Qualifications
High school diploma required; coursework in Human Services preferred.
Prior experience in residential services or developmental disabilities.
Valid Ohio driver’s license and safe driving record.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with resident care when necessary.
Must pass criminal background check and physical/drug exam.
Flexible schedule with ability to be on call 24/7 as needed.
