We are seeking a skilled Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for eye care and providing exceptional service to our patients. As an Optician, you will assist customers in selecting eyewear, ensuring proper fit, and educating them on lens options. **Duties:** - Assist customers in selecting frames that complement their appearance and meet their prescription needs - Take accurate measurements to ensure proper fit of eyewear - Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and enhancements - Adjust and repair eyewear as needed - Process orders for eyewear and contact lenses - Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical billing **Qualifications:** - Previous experience in an optical setting or retail management is preferred - Knowledge of optical terminology, lens options, and frame styles - Familiarity with medical records, HIPAA regulations, and medical coding - Strong sales skills with the ability to recommend appropriate eyewear based on customer needs - Understanding of ophthalmic conditions and physiology - Proficiency in using Epic or similar electronic health record systems Join our team as an Optician to help our patients see clearly and look their best!
