This role plays a vital part in keeping our showrooms and warehouses clean, safe, organized, and visually appealing.Essential FunctionsMaintain cleanliness of the interior and exterior showroom, warehouse areas, parking lot, restrooms, common areas, floors, windows, etc.Perform dusting, vacuuming, custodial work, and trash removalReceive and process products from trucks, handling all products with the utmost careAssemble furniture using work instructions and various tools, following quality and safety guidelinesInspect in-store furniture for damage and perform repairs/restoration as neededEnsure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies, promoting workplace safetyMaintain an organized and clean warehouse to optimize space utilizationPerform facilities maintenance tasks, including minor plumbing repairs and carpentry updatesPaint showroom walls for presentations, store upgrades, and upkeepCollaborate with the Visual Team to ensure the showroom meets visual merchandising standardsMaintain showroom track lighting for optimal product presentationParticipate in product placement, preparation for floor moves, and store sales eventsCreate a positive, seamless guest pick-up experience by verifying order details and following SOPsResolve guest concerns with collaborative and effective communicationSupport management in maximizing special events, such as VIP nights and Grand OpeningsSchedule ExpectationsFull-time: 40 hours per weekOvertime during peak periods as neededSchedule may change according to business needsTravel may be required to assist with regional stores and new store openingsRequirementsEducation & Experience Preferred:High school diploma or GEDPrior warehouse experience preferredMinimum 1 year of maintenance and warehouse experience in receiving and assembling furnitureSkills & Abilities:Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skillsAbility to read, understand, and follow instructionsAbility to work independently and in a fast-paced team environmentAbility to lift, lower, push, or pull furniture over 100 lbsAbility to stand for extended periodsNeat, clean, and professional appearanceHigh level of courtesy in serving guestsTroubleshooting skills for resolving customer service issues
