A strong background in pediatrics and geriatrics is preferred, along with proficiency in medical terminology and trigger point therapy.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
- Provide hands-on therapy techniques to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and mobility.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and recovery processes.
- Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in accordance with clinic standards.
- Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques.
Requirements
- Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices.
- Familiarity with pediatric and geriatric patient care is a plus.
- Ability to perform trigger point therapy techniques effectively.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
