HIRING IMMEDIATELY- DELIVERY DRIVERS!!!
Ashley Furniture is immediately hiring Delivery Drivers! The ideal candidate is responsible for delivering and setting up furniture in a customer’s home and our multiple store locations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Route Planning & Navigation: Determining the most efficient routes, possibly using GPS and considering traffic, to ensure timely deliveries.
- Loading and Unloading: Safely loading products onto the delivery vehicle and unloading them at customer locations.
- Delivery & Customer Service: Delivering goods to customers, interacting with them professionally, and potentially handling payments or returns.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and potentially inventory.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Performing routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues to management.
- Safety Compliance: Adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
