Responsibilities
- Load and unload furniture items efficiently using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques while maintaining safety standards.
- Deliver furniture to customers’ homes or designated locations promptly, following established routes and schedules.
- Assist customers with the placement and setup of furniture, providing exceptional customer service by addressing questions or concerns professionally.
- Conduct thorough inspections of deliveries to confirm accuracy and condition of items upon receipt.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including delivery logs, route sheets, and incident reports if necessary.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delays, or issues encountered during deliveries.
- Uphold safety protocols at all times during loading, transit, and unloading processes to prevent accidents or damages.
