The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Ashland University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Mathematics, beginning August 2026. The department offers majors in actuarial science, mathematics, integrated mathematics, cybersecurity, and computer science. Job Description:
- Teaching load is twelve (12) credit hours per semester.
- The successful candidate will teach introductory and advanced undergraduate mathematics courses for department majors and additional courses in support of the university core curriculum and other majors. Qualification and experience in teaching a variety of mathematics courses is preferred.
- The successful candidate must be willing to teach using face-to-face and online modalities.
- The successful candidate is expected to provide service to the institution and maintain an active practice of scholarship.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Mathematics.
- College or university teaching experience with demonstrated excellence.
