Job Summary: This is an accounting position responsible for assisting the Financial Manager in a variety of tasks including General Ledger accounting and payroll preparation.
General Responsibilities:
- Monitor and resolve missing time-clock entries in a timely manner
- Prepare payroll data for third-party payroll company to process semi-monthly payroll
- Record payroll and related entries in general ledger
- Prepare month and quarter end journal entries
- Reconcile bank and other GL accounts
- Daily Sales reporting and recording
- Maintain Accounts Receivable
- Perform Worker's Compensation calculation
- Process and maintain garnishments and child support orders
- Produce various reports for internal and external users
- Maintain confidentiality of personal information
