ACU has an exciting opportunity for a Controls Specialist to join our Controls Department in Ashland, Kentucky office. This position is .....
Job Responsibilities:
Act as the backup to the Bank Secrecy Act officer. Process consumer lien releases, utilizing ACUs internal lien release tracking system, adhering to all policies and procedures related to the processing of Consumer Lending lien release requests.
Maintain an organized filing system for lien releases.
Answer title lien release related member inquiries or concerns in person, by email, fax, or telephone in a professional manner.
Act as the Single Point of Contact for ACU for insurance claim related scenarios. This includes GAP claims, debt protection claims, and life insurance claims.
Assist the Controls Manager in preparing Supervisory Committee documents.
Other duties as requested by the Controls Manager or the Chief Risk Officer
Education & Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience with vehicle titles
Experience with handling consumer lending insurance claims
Understanding of federal, state, and local laws and regulations as they apply the release of titles
Ability to collaborate with other managers and work to create balanced processes that satisfy the interests of both parties.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Ability to work Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm EST
