Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong electrical and electrical controls systems knowledge. This role involves installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical controls and instrumentation in commercial and industrial settings. The technician will work independently in the field, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards. Must have good communications skills.
Duties
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and components.
- Troubleshoot controls to determine what needs to be repaired or corrected.
- Repair or replace defective components such as motors, compressors, pumps, and valves.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations during all installations and repairs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients.
- Document all service calls and repairs accurately for record-keeping purposes.
- Run conduit. Troubleshooting motor controls
- PLC and HMI experience a Plus and will effect wage.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role in the field service industry.
- Strong electrical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues effectively.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred.
- Drug Free.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Comfortable and able to work on a computer.
Small company the provides flexibility and growth. You will be working with the owner directly. Work from home at times when computer work is required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
