Asheville T-Shirt Company is hiring! Willing to train the right individual!
We are looking to add a new Shipping & Receiving/ Purchasing individual to our line-up of amazing staff. This is a part- time, year-round position in our brand new location in Arden! Must be a detail oriented, energetic and hard-working individual to join our crew of T-shirt professionals. The position requires self-discipline, focus, and the ability to multi- task throughout the day. Willing to train the right individual-- a positive attitude, love for people, and a keen attention for detail is an absolute must!
Core Functions:
-Collate customer orders and review supplier inventories to ensure accuracy in procurement process
-Follow established ordering procedures to procure goods
-Conduct thorough reviews of deliveries against orders, ensuring all goods arrive undamaged, on time, and in full.
-Organize goods into customer orders and prioritize them for production
-Handle the return of goods when necessary, coordinating with suppliers and internal departments
-Build and maintain positive relationships with supplier representatives to ensure reliable and timely delivery of goods
Requirements:
-Able to lift 50 lbs
-Able to be on your feet for a good part of the day
-Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written).
-Ability to thrive in a team environment
-Self-Motivated to have the ability to work independently (after training) with little or no direct supervision
-Enthusiasm about the products you sell
