We're hiring a Carpenter Handyman who is professional, versatile, and takes pride in their craft. This is a full-time, W-2 employee position with opportunities for advancement.

You'll run residential carpentry and handyman projects from start to finish, work both independently and with a crew, and represent Asheville Carpentry with professionalism and warmth in client homes.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist with carpentry, remodeling, and home repair projects
• Interact with clients in a professional, client-facing manner
• Solve problems efficiently and creatively
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites
• Communicate clearly with the office team to keep projects moving
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong experience in carpentry, remodeling, and home repair
• Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to grow into more responsibility
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required for use of company vehicles)
• All employees must follow company policies, including maintaining smoke-free job sites and vehicles.
  
  

Pay & Benefits

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday (35-45 hrs/week)
• Competitive pay of $27 to $33 per hour based on experience
• Eligible for additional performance-based pay tied to project results and leadership contributions
• Company Vehicle: Work-use provided, with potential for take-home privilege.
