The Maintenance Apprentice enters a company training program to learn all aspects of maintaining the companies approximately 3000 braiding machines. Through the one-year program that will include preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and welding training, the Maintenance Apprentice will learn all the skills necessary to become a Braider Mechanic. The Braider Mechanic works closely with both the quality and production team to ensure Ashaway's many braiders are properly maintained. The position is a good fit for someone who likes to work on their feet in a fast-paced environment, is mechanically inclined, and doesn't mind some repetitive tasks. The braider rooms are loud and require the use of hearing protection.

Qualifications
- Attention to detail
- Ability to concentrate while performing repetitive tasks

- Must be mechanically inclined
- Willing to wear hearing protection for full shift
- Energetic
- Must be willing to work 1st shift hours 7am to 3pm Monday through Friday.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
