The Braider Mechanic works closely with both the quality and production team to ensure Ashaway's many braiders are properly maintained. The position is a good fit for someone who likes to work on their feet in a fast-paced environment, is mechanically inclined, and doesn't mind some repetitive tasks. The braider rooms are loud and require the use of hearing protection.
Responsibilities
- Preventative Maintenance of Braiders
- Product changeovers
- Mechanical Troubleshooting
- Light documentation
Qualifications
- Attention to detail
- Ability to concentrate while performing repetitive tasks
- Team Player
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Willing to wear hearing protection for full shift
- Some light welding experience preferred
- Energetic
- Must be willing to work 1st shift hours 7am to 3pm Monday through Friday.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.50 - $24.00 per hour
