We are seeking a skilled, hands-on team member who can support our finishing and assembly operations.
Position Overview
The Cabinet Painter & Assembly Technician will be responsible for:
- Painting and finishing cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and cabinet components
- Light sanding, prep work, and surface cleaning prior to finishing
- Applying primer, paint, or top-coat finishes (spray and/or brush/roll)
- Assisting with cabinet and drawer box assembly
- Installing hardware, hinges, and drawer slides
- Quality-control checking for finish consistency and workmanship
- Helping maintain an organized and clean shop work area
This is a part-time, shop-based position with potential for additional hours as workload grows.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience painting cabinets, furniture, or fine-finish woodwork
- Knowledge of sanding, prep, and finishing techniques
- Experience with HVLP or spray-finish systems (preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with cabinet assembly or woodworking environments
- Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and follow project instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move cabinet parts and panels (up to ~40 lbs)
- Comfortable working in a shop / production environment

- Part-time position (hours flexible based on workload)
