Job Summary:
Asgard Resources, a leading frac sand provider in Northwestern North Dakota and Eastern Montana, is seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Loadout Operator/Scale House Operator. Since 2019, we have been a premier supplier of frac sand to oil and gas companies nationwide. In this role, you will manage the loadout process, ensuring accurate measurement and documentation of materials. Operating computerized scales, you'll weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles while logging essential information such as vehicle type, tags, and driver details, contributing significantly to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
You will operate and monitor loadout equipment, conducting pre-load and post-load inspections to ensure safety compliance and optimal performance. Handling the scale system, you'll ensure accurate weight measurements and prepare weight tickets for documentation. Monitoring the quality of frac sand during loading and addressing any discrepancies will also be part of your duties. Communication with dispatch, drivers, and team members is essential for effective loadout coordination, and you'll provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Adhering to safety regulations and participating in safety training is crucial for maintaining a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in related fields is a plus. Previous experience in loadout or scale house operations, particularly in mining, aggregate, or construction, is preferred. Strong attention to detail, mathematical accuracy, and excellent communication skills are essential. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities is also important, along with familiarity with safety protocols in industrial settings.
Physical Requirements:
Candidates must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds and be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. The role requires standing, walking, and climbing for extended periods.
