POSITION OVERVIEW
· The Flight Dynamics Engineer is an entry to intermediate level engineering role responsible for supporting the design, development, documentation, and testing of aircraft aerodynamic simulation models and associated simulator systems.
· This position provides hands-on experience in flight simulation development while working closely with senior engineers in a collaborative environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assist in the design, development, testing, and documentation of flight dynamics software models
· Support implementation of simulation algorithms using industry-standard design practices
· Contribute to software development including object-oriented programming and data structures
· Participate in development of real-time simulation systems and support software
· Support validation and testing of models and simulator hardware
· Report progress clearly to engineering leadership
· Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
· Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience
· Working knowledge of flight dynamics
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment
