POSITION OVERVIEW
· The Aircraft Systems Engineer is an entry to intermediate level engineering role supporting the design, development, documentation, and testing of aircraft systems simulation models and associated simulator hardware.
· This position provides hands-on experience in a collaborative, project-driven environment working alongside senior engineers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assist in design, development, testing, and documentation of aircraft systems simulation models
· Support software development activities including coding, testing, and documentation
· Apply industry-standard engineering practices in systems modeling and simulation
· Participate in development of real-time simulation systems and support software
· Support validation and testing of simulation models and associated hardware
· Provide clear, concise status updates to engineering leadership
· Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
DEVELOPMENT FOCUS
· Aircraft systems modeling and simulation
· Real-time programming techniques for flight simulation
· Software design fundamentals including object-oriented programming and data structures
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
· Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience
· Experience with aircraft systems, simulation, or systems integration
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
