Principal Systems Engineer to support the GPI program’s SEIT Technical Execution Lead Engineer to define the environmental requirements. (Environments RSE). This position will serve on-site in Chandler, AZ. Responsibilities:
Principal Systems Engineer to support the GPI program’s SEIT Technical Execution Lead Engineer to define the environmental requirements. (Environments RSE). This position will serve on-site in Chandler, AZ. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for working under general direction for the SEIT Technical Execution Lead to define the environmental requirements and ensure traceability from Level 4 down to Level 6 within the specification tree.
- Responsible for frequent interorganizational interactions to carry requirements through the design.
- Responsible for collaboration with senior systems engineers and other disciplines to support the development of the NGI deliverables. Basic Qualifications for Principal Systems Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with 5 years of related engineering experience; or a Master’s degree in STEM with 3 years of related engineering experience, or a PhD in STEM with no experience
- Solid foundational understanding of Systems Engineering
- General understanding of all design disciplines
- Demonstrated experience in requirements development and decomposition, validation and verification
- Demonstrated experience in requirements traceability
- DOORS or other requirements Management Experience
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and nontechnical personnel
- Interim Secret DoD security clearance, or higher – Most work is performed in a closed area Preferred Qualifications for Principal Systems Engineer:
- Systems Engineering experience
- Experience working fast paced development programs
- Sysml or Cameo Experience
