AIRCRAFT - Cable/Harness - Manufacturing Technicians to support our on-site wire harness manufacturing Center of Excellence. This position is located in Sierra Vista, Arizona.
B-2 PROGRAM Responsibilities
B-2 PROGRAM Responsibilities
- Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, fabricating wire harnesses, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, and components
- Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process
- Utilize measurement tools such as calipers, rulers, and tape measures for fabricating hardware.
- Reads and interprets work instructions, schematics, wire lists, and drawings
- Provides regular communication to shop leads and Work Center management on status and technical issues
- Ensures quality of the hardware is maintained and company procedures are followed. Basic Qualifications for Cable/Harness Technician:
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent
- Must be a US Citizen
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under limited supervision.
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds Preferred Qualifications for Cable/Harness Technician:
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification
- J-STD-001 Certification
- Ability to multitask, prioritize
- Experience or familiarity with ISO requirements, standards, and compliance issues
