Warehouse Manager

We are seeking an organized, reliable, detail and service-oriented Warehouse Manager to join our growing team. This position will be at ASD’s newest location in New Jersey that is strategically placed to maximize shipping efficiency. Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to managing daily operations, overseeing the shipping and receiving department, inventory control, hiring new employees, training employees, maintaining a safe environment, and ensuring ASD’s high standards will be met daily. Previous warehouse experience is required.

Warehouse Manager Duties and Responsibilities:

· Oversee receiving, shipping, warehousing, and distribution

· Adhere to ASD policies concerning layout of warehouse and space

· Maintain constant communication with upper management and Logistics to ensure all carriers are operating in a satisfactory manner

· Maintain standards of health, safety, and security

· Maintain inventory control, by creating cycle counts systematically in Epicor

· Seek out improvements that can be implemented once approval is given

· Assign tasks appropriately and appraise results

· Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided

Job Requirements:

· Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager

· Experience shipping and receiving – UPS/LTL/FedEx

· Experience navigating WMS

· Cycle counting / order checking.

· Expertise is warehouse management procedures and best practices.

· Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives

· Strong analytical and organizational skills

· Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel

· Ability to multitask

· Reliably contribute to a positive work environment

· Good customer service and communication skills, both written and oral

Required Skills:

· 3 years of Warehouse Supervisor/Management experience

· High school degree or equivalent

· Ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

· Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

· Microsoft Office experience

· Forklift experience

· Hand truck experience

· Cycle counting / order checking.

· Expertise is warehouse management procedures and best practices.
