Warehouse Manager
Position is responsible for directing storage and distribution activities of the warehouse to ensure products, parts or supplies are shipped, distributed or received in an efficient manner during assigned work shift; directs warehouse employees. Manages the overall day-to-day operations of the warehouse.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervises and coordinates daily activities of workers engaged in receiving, transporting, stacking, order filling, shipping and maintaining stock records in the warehouse.
- Ensures products, parts or supplies are shipped, distributed, or received in an efficient manner. Takes precautions to secure warehouse contents against loss.
- Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage requirements; recommending improvements.
- Maintains equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; scheduling preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Oversees inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers
- Maintains inventory by conducting physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data.
- Provides support for employee hiring, coordinating work schedules, training, coaching, and ensures employees have the ability to safely operate material handling equipment and tools at the work site
- Interface with customers and other company departments to answer questions or solve problems.
Requirements:
· Previous experience directing/coordinate warehouse activities
· Supervisory experience that includes coaching and handling employee performance issues
· Effective communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills
· Ability to operate a computer and warehouse software systems

· Ability to stand for long periods of time; climb ladders, manually handle (carry, lift, push)
objects that may weigh up to 50lbs.
- Ability to operate a fork lift and company vehicles for deliveries
- Must have clean driver’s license
