Detailed Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Architect with AWS.
Job Responsibilities:
· Architect and implement enterprise-scale data lakes and cloud data warehouse solutions on AWS and Snowflake.
· Design and build scalable ELT/ETL frameworks using Snowflake, AWS Glue, Lambda, and Step Functions.
· Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premises databases and applications to AWS.
· Define and implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) for modern data platforms.
· Design CDC-based data integration solutions using AWS DMS, Snowpipe, Streams, and Tasks.
· Establish data governance, security controls, role-based access management, and compliance standards.
· Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation.
· Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation for data platform deployments.
· Optimize Snowflake performance, storage, compute utilization, and cloud infrastructure costs.
· Provide technical leadership and mentorship to onshore and offshore teams.
· 15 years of overall IT experience with deep expertise in AWS cloud and data platform architecture.
· Strong hands-on experience implementing Snowflake-based enterprise data warehouse solutions.
· Proven experience leading cloud data transformation and migration projects.
Must Have Skills:
· AWS Cloud Architecture (S3, Lambda, DMS, Glue, IAM, Step Functions, Lake Formation)
· Snowflake Architecture, Data Warehousing, Performance Tuning & Security
· Data Engineering, ETL/ELT, CDC, Terraform, CI/CD, and Cloud Data Migration
