Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced API Architecture Lead / Principal Integration Architect to define and drive enterprise-wide API and integration architecture strategies. The ideal candidate will lead the design of scalable, secure, and resilient RESTful APIs and microservices ecosystems while establishing governance standards, lifecycle management practices, and enterprise integration patterns. This role requires deep expertise in Java/Spring Boot, event-driven architectures, API security, and large-scale distributed systems.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Define API architecture standards, governance models, and integration patterns.
- Design and implement scalable REST APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Lead event-driven and Kafka-based asynchronous integration solutions.
- Manage API lifecycle including design, versioning, documentation, and monitoring.
- Drive performance optimization, resiliency, and secure API practices (OAuth2/JWT).
- Architect service orchestration, middleware integration, and domain-driven solutions.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD, deployment automation, and release governance.
- Mentor teams, conduct code reviews, and ensure architecture best practices.
- Optimize Spring Batch, Quartz jobs, SQL queries, and enterprise data models.
