What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrician 3 position at Ascential Technologies?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand assembly requirements and specifications
- Installation and assembly of control panels using hand tools and power tools according to product specifications
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions in machine tools and automation systems, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
- Collaborate with engineering and other team members to interpret electrical schematics, diagrams and technical specifications for machine tool integration
- Perform preventative maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and reliability of electrical systems
- Keeping updated on machine tool field concepts, practices, and procedures
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience (minimum of 5 years) in a Machine Tool Electrician of similar role
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints accurately and effectively
- Must possess own hand tools
- Ability to effectively and efficiently work individually and as well in a team environment
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must be willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally at 20% or less per calendar year
- Frequently moves, lifts, transports, positions, and installs equipment and material greater than 10lbs
