Technical Responsibilities
- Design cost-effective control systems for custom machinery, including component selection, circuit design, safety analysis, and technical documentation.
- Understand and adhere to project specifications, including mechanical and software requirements, to implement suitable hardware solutions.
- Generate electrical schematics, process & instrumentation diagrams, and control panel layouts.
- Communicate effectively with purchasing to ensure accurate and timely procurment of commercial components.
- Coordinate with shop personnel during the electrical assembly of control systems and machines.
- Ensure electrical designs and assembly adhere to relevant regulatory standards.
- Support control system start-up and debug.
- Complete redline changes to create documentation turn-over packages.
Personal Responsibilities
- Work proactively, with minimum supervision, to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Motivate self and others in a positive and professional manner.
- Collaborate effectively with procurement, project managers, engineers, and assembly personnel within a project team.
- Understand and effectively communicate project status and potential obstacles to success.

- Keep current with technology, engineering methods, and standards within the automation industry.
- Actively participate in ongoing process improvement by adhering to engineering standards, procedural audits, and project design reviews.
