About the Role
As a Logistics Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing freight from pickup to delivery while serving as a key point of communication between customers, carriers, and internal team members.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in solving problems before they become issues. You are not just tracking loads. You are actively managing outcomes.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate and manage daily freight movements from start to finish
- Communicate proactively with drivers, carriers, and customers
- Track shipments and address delays or challenges in real time
- Build and maintain strong carrier relationships
- Ensure accurate data entry and documentation in internal systems
- Collaborate closely with sales and operations team members
- Take ownership of freight and follow through until delivery is complete
What We Are Looking For
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with customers and drivers
- Ability to stay organized and calm under pressure
- Problem solving mindset with attention to detail
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Team oriented attitude with a strong sense of accountability
- Experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or operations is a plus but not required
