Summary of Position:
As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for on-site operations on civil-site construction projects. A successful candidate will be able to manage construction site activities, meet project schedules, read, understand construction plans, drawings, and specifications. A successful candidate will posses great communication skills, have extensive experience running construction projects related to site development, roads, utilities, and other civil infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate on-site activities for civil construction projects.
- Review construction plans, understand specifications, and develop as-built drawings in the field.
- Monitor project progress and schedules.
- Have clear communication with field crews, contractors, project managers, owners, and others on-site and in the office.
- Perform field inspections.
- Problem-solve in the field and address issues professionally.
Qualifications:
- 8 years of related experience
- Significant experience in site development, earthwork, and other infrastructure projects.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
- Strong written, verbal, and drawing skills to prepare inspection reports.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word & Excel) for electronic documentation.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to safely operate a vehicle.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
