Renewal Falls Recovery Center is opening a premier substance use disorder treatment center in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and we're looking for compassionate, skilled Registered Nurses to join our founding clinical team.

About Us
Renewal Falls Recovery Center, in partnership with Ascension Recovery Services, provides evidence-based treatment for individuals experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Our mission is to empower individuals on their journey to lasting recovery through compassionate, individualized care delivered by exceptional professionals.
What You'll Do
As a Registered Nurse, you will:
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments upon admission and throughout treatment
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with provider orders
- Monitor patients during detoxification and throughout residential treatment
- Assess and respond to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, behavioral health technicians, and case management staff
- Provide patient education regarding medications, recovery, wellness, and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical documentation
- Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and crisis situations
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards, state regulations, and company policies
- Promote a safe, therapeutic, trauma-informed environment for patients and staff
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Current Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary treatment team
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in detoxification, behavioral health, addiction medicine, emergency nursing, medical-surgical nursing, or critical care
- Knowledge of medication-assisted treatment (MAT)
- Experience working with individuals experiencing substance use and co-occurring disorders
