How you’ll make an impact in this role
Apply paints, stains, and other surface treatments to structural surfaces and property.
- Apply protective and decorative coats of paint, varnish, lacquer and related materials to interior and exterior surfaces of buildings, furniture, equipment and other property.
- Prepare surfaces by washing, scraping, sanding, torching and/or smoothing prior to applying finishing materials.
- Maintain existing paint surfaces by matching/tinting appropriate paint products.
- Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition. Properly stores, cleans and disposes of all supplies and equipment used according to departmental policies and procedures.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
