How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Safely transport PACE participants to and from the center, homes, and appointments, keeping to schedule and adjusting as needed
- Operate and inspect vehicles daily, using wheelchair lifts and safety equipment properly and following all traffic laws
- Assist participants in and out of the vehicle with care, respect, and attention to safety
- Communicate promptly about any issues or incidents and support the Transportation Supervisor with daily department needs
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Chauffeur preferred.
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Heart Saver AED preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
- Valid DL with F endorsement
