What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Clinical Services position at Ascension Living?
Direct the development and implementation of policies, procedures and strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Organize operations to provide high quality, cost effective services. Model leadership and teaming excellence by providing appropriate advice and counsel to staff to improve effectiveness.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that support the delivery of services to meet all
- productivity plans.
- Coordinate and integrate services to meet contractual requirements. Conducts ongoing assessments, maintain quality control programs, and improve departmental operations.
- Direct staff. Manage departmental turnover while maintaining high employee and patient satisfaction.
- Identify marketing and collaborative opportunities for the department.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Practical/Vocational Nurse preferred.
- Registered Nurse preferred.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
- required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
