- Extensive experience managing Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing for skilled nursing facilities, including claims processing, reimbursement analysis, and coordination of benefits.
- Proven ability to verify insurance eligibility, prior authorizations, and determine patient financial responsibility while ensuring compliance with Medicare and skilled facility billing guidelines.
- Skilled in resolving billing discrepancies, reconciling claims, and maintaining accurate patient account documentation to support timely reimbursement and reduce denied or unbilled claims.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with patients, providers, insurance carriers, and facility staff to address coverage issues, authorization requirements, and payment resolutions.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
- Matrix 360 experience
- Skilled Nursing Billing experience
- Medicare and Medicaid experience
